Message of Chairman
Education opens the heart and mind of all individuals. It gives vision, provides skill to excel in this world. Once girls were behind the main stream but now they are well ahead. It is the Cantonment Board Girls’ High School, Rangpur Cantonment that took the steps to infuse and instill eagerness of learning amongst the girls to become successful women in life. Education need not be purely academic and may include reading for leisure or as a passion for literature, philosophy, art, politics, economics, or even scientific research. There is no limit, to all that you can teach yourself, only if you take the interest to learn and grow as an individual. To ensure sustainable development for the country, we must also ensure that our girls are not kept at home, but are allowed to complete education on the same footing as their male counterparts. Communities and countries that succeed in achieving gender parity in education will reap substantial benefits relating to health, equality, and job creation. CBGHSR has set a blazing example of spreading education for girls in this part of the country, with its outstanding academic and co-curricular activities. Best wishes for CBGHSR.
